We were delighted to be joined by Dr Madlen Sobkowiak, Research Fellow in Accounting at the Birmingham Business School. Madlen is working on the Seafood Business for Ocean Stewardship (SeaBOS) initiative—an international science-business collaboration bringing together ten of the largest global seafood production companies to lead a global transformation towards sustainable seafood production practices and a healthy ocean.
#LifeBelowWater is goal 15 of the UN Sustainable Development Goals which aims to protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat #desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt #biodiversity loss.
Dr Sobkowiak joined us to discuss Drivers and current practices around business measurements and disclosures on biodiversity.
