It’s well-known that high cannabis taxes & the 280E tax code are a huge challenge for businesses operating in legal cannabis markets – so why are local legislators in Oregon pushing for even higher cannabis tax rates in 2021? Will these additional taxes help fight the Black Market as legislators say, or will they actually strengthen the black market over time?
