The lady in the video was handled by police officers because they claim she did not have a license to trade there. The lady sells dog cots for a living, and in a time of economic decline and high unemployment rates, many south africans are forced into acts of crime. This lady was working hard to support her family. According to the original source, the officers wanted to arrest her/ repossess her goods because she couldnt pay the bribe. The community members stood by this lady, and could see the situation as an abuse of power by law enforcement. This is a very sad state of affairs, particularly when our police men and women ought to be out there protecting us. Crime is extremely high in south africa, and resources are wasted on people who are doing honest work to survive. The guy who took the video, big ups to you bro for standing up for whats right. Together we are ONE, and in this clip you will see that we are united at the bottom but divided by those on top.
