In May 2021, NYU Langone Health’s Community Health Worker Research and Resource Center (CHW-RRC) and Tobacco-Free Community hosted the second of the two-part tobacco prevention series—”Addressing Tobacco, E-cigarettes, and Alternative Products with Youth”— for community health workers, patient navigators, and other community-facing workers.
The webinar features a presentation by Dr. Achala Talati, director of Tobacco Policy and Programs, NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. The presentation focuses on clinical and educational tools to help address product use with youth and families. The presentation was followed by a Q&A moderated by Binh Luu, research coordinator of NYU Langone’s Tobacco Free Community.
