Dr. Sasha graduated in 2000 with a Ph.D. Medical Microbiology & Immunology (Molecular and Cellular Cannabinoid Research) from the University of South Florida, College of Medicine, and a D.O. from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Bradenton, FL. From 2009 – 2012 she has worked at Family Medicine Residency Program in St. Petersburg. She is board certified in Family Medicine / Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists of the American Osteopathic Association. She is also a board certified Family Physician/Owner of her practice, Direct Family Care LLC in Apollo Beach, FL. She is the author of Author of Cannabis and the Immune System, and Marijuana and the Bible: A conversation with America’s Leading Medical Cannabis Expert, and is a leading expert and speaker on marijuana and its use.
