In this video I will compare two articles discussing the same study on the effects of CBD and the liver. One article is used (in my opinion) as an outlet to voice their negative opinion on CBD without reinforcing any of the claims with data, while the other takes a neutral approach providing you with data to come to your own conclusion.
I fully support the research on cannabis derivatives and believe it’s crucial to the industry. Knowing if there are any side effects to taking derivatives, like CBD, will help with regulations and will keep people safe. However, I do not support articles like the one shared in this video, where nothing is substantiated with actual data. It appears the author of the Forbes article read the study of CBD effects on the liver and made his own judgement without providing any data to back it up.
The second article written by Healthline takes more of a neutral stance on the topic and provides actual data that came from the study, allowing readers to make their own judgement.
Please do your own research before taking supplements and make sure you’re aware of any potential side effects!
