CBD is a promising treatment for dogs with cancer – as it is for humans with cancer. While there has not been a study that concretely confirms the benefits of CBD for dogs specifically, there is a published 2016 study by the National Comprehensive Cancer Network that concludes that CBD can “reduce cancer pain,” and SitStay adds that it may “stop bad cell growth in tumors.”

Most recently, there are preliminary studies at universities that validate optimism about CBD as a treatment.
